Thank you for the opportunity to provide our services. Our professional staff at The OB/GYN Specialists of West Georgia are committed to delivering the finest medical care possible. Our only mission is to help you, by explaining our office policies and procedures ahead of time, we hope to make your visit both efficient and pleasant.
Please call our office at (866) 904-4359 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, to make appointments or with questions or problems. Our staff is trained to promptly answer your questions or problems. Your information will be relayed to your physician, and if necessary, your call will be returned to you as soon as possible.
Appointments
Patients are seen during regular office hours only by appointment. We will do our best to accommodate your busy schedule as we realize your time is valuable. Be aware that emergencies do arise (babies can't wait) and every effort will be made to inform you of any delays. Call our office ahead of time to determine if your physician is running on schedule. Also if you must cancel your appointment, please call 24 hours in advance so that another may be seen.
Test Results
You are anxious to receive your test results. Please be assured that we will do our part to relay this information. You will be notified of normal pap results by mail. Abnormal findings will be discussed with you over the telephone.
Prescriptions
Request prescriptions and refills during regular office hours. All prescriptions will be called in during the day and will be ready for pickup late afternoon.
Insurance
We participate with most providers, check with us if you are unsure about our participation when you make your appointment.
To expedite the billing process, bring your insurance cards with you to each and every visit. Let us know any changes to your insurance or personal information. Eventhough you have insurance coverage, you are ultimately responsible for your bill and its payment. It is wise to understand your insurance benefits before you come in. Every effort is made to minimize the cost of your health care. You can help by paying your co-pay and deductible at each visit
